RANGES

Given the sheer size of poker trees, “perfect” ranges do not exist. Therefore,  investing  extreme  resources  in  order  to  build  them  is not worthwhile. On the other hand, as a professional you require an idea of what to do in each preflop situation, so that you can navigate postflop accordingly. The best solution is a “range pack”. A range pack is a set of ranges for each common preflop spot, from  Opening,  to  3-Betting,  to  defending vs 4-Bets,  in all situations,  IP  and  OOP.  If  you  do not  already  have  a  range  pack,  it  is  an  absolute  must  one-off investment.
